For those of you who want a house with a dock to park your boat, Palm Coast has 23 miles of salt water canals within the city. The salt water canals all connect to the Intracoastal waterway, which also has options for homes with docks.
There are also two islands within Palm Coast, The Sanctuary and Island Estates.
The salt water canal homes are located in the Palm Harbor sub-division in Palm Coast, all salt water canal homes will be on streets beginning with "C' or 'F'.
Most of the Palm Coast salt water canal homes will require that you pass under a bridge to gain access to the intracoastal, although if you have a larger (taller) boat, we do have 'sail boat' country homes, these have direct access to the intracoastal and you will not need to pass under a bridge for intracoastal access.
Taking your boat from your house to the intracoastal can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to 45 minutes, depending on where you purchase.
Ocean access from the intracoastal can be taken at St Augustine, about 30 minutes, Ponce Inlet, about an hour south or the closest, Matanzas Inlet, although not suitable for all boats.
